IFSS funded in 1988 and members of GAISF since 1989. Since 2011 accepted as a member of the International Master Games Association (IMGA) with the objective of participating in the Master Games 2015. IFSS is a member of WADA. With 50-member federations world wide IFSS has its headquarter in Brussels, Belgium. World Championship is held every other year both on snow and on dryland.
